Well, Zinefest is fast approaching. It’s shaping up to be a pretty fun event thanks to the hard work of the lovely Sarah Morean.
Here are some photos of the show that will be up during the event. It’s a retrospective of sorts of the Minneapolis Zine scene. All of these zines came from the collection of Mr. Mike. We have some old zines from Zac Sally, Mr. Mike and the Newsletter of Artistic Influence. I used to read the Newsletter back when I was in college and it’s fun to see so many of them lined up on the wall. It serves as a kind of timeline for my freshman - sophomore year.
So anyway, stop by the Stevens Square Center for the Arts this upcoming weekend. The event is on July 12 and 13.
